My credits and how they apply to the next order
Credits are balance in your favor within the EncuentraIglesias store. They apply themselves on your next purchase without you having to do anything.
What generates credits?
Three situations can generate credits for you:
- Overpayment: if you transferred (SPEI or OXXO) an amount greater than your order total, the difference stays as credit. For example, if your order was $90 and you paid $100, the extra $10 goes to your credits.
- Partial refund: in some refund cases (for example, when only a partial return applies), the amount is credited to your account instead of being returned to the bank.
- Promotions: occasionally the EncuentraIglesias team may grant credits as part of a promotion or courtesy adjustment.
Where to see your credits?
You can check your balance in two places:
/en/perfil— "My credits" section./shop/my-purchases— the balance is shown at the top of the history.
The balance is displayed in the original currency it was generated in.
How are they applied?
When you start a new checkout, the system automatically detects if you have credits available in the same currency as the order. If there are, it deducts them from the total before showing you the amount to pay. No code needed.
If the credit covers the full total, the order is marked as paid directly and you'll receive the confirmation email without going through any payment gateway.
Important rules
- They don't expire: your credits have no expiration date.
- Not transferable: they're linked to your account and can't be passed to another person.
- Same currency: credits only apply to orders in the same currency they were accumulated in. If you have credits in MXN and buy a product in USD, the system won't cross them.
- Not redeemable for cash.
