Payment methods: Stripe, PayPal, SPEI, and OXXO

The store accepts four forms of payment. Two are instant and global; two are local methods available in some countries and require an extra step. None of them charge additional fees to the buyer.

Credit/debit card (Stripe)

  • Available in: all countries where the store operates.
  • How it works: you enter your card details directly into the secure payment form (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and other major networks). The charge happens immediately.
  • Speed: instant. Your product is available to download within seconds.
  • Buyer fee: none. The price you see is what you pay.

PayPal

  • Available in: all countries where the store operates.
  • How it works: choosing PayPal opens your PayPal account sign-in window. You confirm the payment from there.
  • Speed: instant. Fulfillment happens as soon as PayPal confirms the transaction.
  • Buyer fee: none.
  • Note: if your PayPal balance is less than the total, PayPal may charge the difference to your linked card, depending on your PayPal account settings.

SPEI (local method)

  • Available in: some countries.
  • How it works: choosing SPEI generates a CLABE account number and an exact amount. You make the transfer from your online banking (same bank or interbank) to the CLABE we show you. Afterward you must upload a photo of the receipt on your order page.
  • Speed: the system verifies the receipt automatically. The process generally takes minutes from when you upload the photo.
  • Buyer fee: none.
  • Important: transfer the exact amount indicated. If you pay less, the balance stays pending and the order won't release until the full amount is covered. To upload your receipt, see /en/help/articulo/tienda/subir-comprobante.

OXXO (local method)

  • Available in: some countries.
  • How it works: choosing OXXO generates a payment slip with a barcode and the amount to pay. You go to any OXXO store, say you want to make a payment with a slip, and the cashier scans the code. Save your receipt. Afterward you must upload a photo of the receipt (the OXXO ticket) on your order page.
  • Speed: same as SPEI — the system reviews the receipt automatically within minutes of uploading.
  • Buyer fee: none from the store. OXXO may charge its own fee according to its own policy; check with the store before paying.

Frequently asked questions

Can I change the payment method after creating the order? Only if the order is still in "waiting for payment" status. Contact us at /contact and we'll help.

Why don't I see SPEI or OXXO at checkout? These methods only appear when your billing country has this method available.
