I forgot my password but the reset email isn't arriving
You requested a password reset, but the email isn't arriving. Before getting frustrated, there are two important things to check: that the email isn't lost in spam, and that your account actually uses a password (and not Google sign-in).
1. Check if your account uses email or Google
If you registered using the "Continue with Google" button, your account doesn't have its own password — Google manages it directly. In that case, EI will never send a reset email because there's no password to reset.
To sign in, always use the Google button on the sign-in screen. If you have questions about how it works, see the article /en/help/articulo/cuenta/registro-email-google.
2. Check spam, promotions, and junk
Just like with other EI emails, automatic filters often redirect recovery emails.
- Gmail: check the Promotions tab and the Spam folder.
- Outlook / Hotmail: Junk mail folder.
- iCloud: Junk folder. Apple may take a few extra minutes to deliver.
- Others: search for "encuentraiglesias.com" in your email client's search bar.
If you find it, mark it as "not spam" for next time.
3. Confirm you typed the email correctly when requesting the reset
It's easy to make a typo when entering your address. The recovery email goes exactly to what you entered in the form, so if there's a typo it goes to the wrong address (or nowhere).
- No extra space at the beginning or end.
- The correct domain (
.com,.mx,.net, etc.). - No swapped characters (for example
0instead ofo).
Go back to the recovery screen and try again with the correct address.
4. Wait a few minutes and try again
During peak traffic times delivery can take up to 10 minutes. If you've been waiting less than that, wait and reload. If more than 10 minutes have passed, make a new reset request — each request generates a new link and the previous one becomes invalid.
Still not working?
If you verified that your account uses email, checked spam, and confirmed the address, and still nothing arrives, write to us at /contact. Include the exact email address you use for your account and we'll help you recover access.
For your security, never share your password with anyone on the team, not through this form or by any other means.
