The confirmation or recovery email isn't arriving

We send the email the moment you request it, but sometimes the provider's filters redirect it. Before assuming something went wrong, go through these steps in order.

1. Check your spam, promotions, and junk folders

Automatic email filters often move unknown messages without alerting you.

  • Gmail: open the Promotions tab and also check Spam.
  • Outlook / Hotmail: check the Junk mail folder.
  • Yahoo: Spam folder.
  • iCloud / Apple Mail: Junk folder. Apple sometimes holds messages for several minutes before delivering them, so give it a bit more time.
  • Others: look for any folder called "junk," "trash," or "filtered."

If you find it there, mark it as "not spam" so future emails land in your inbox.

2. Verify that the address is entered correctly

One extra or missing character means the email goes to someone else (or nobody). When filling in the email field in EI, check:

  • That there are no spaces at the beginning or end.
  • That the domain is correct (for example gmail.com, not gmal.com).
  • That you're using the same email you registered with.

3. Search for messages from "encuentraiglesias.com"

If your email client has a search function, search for exactly:

encuentraiglesias.com

or:

[email protected]

This will find it even if it's in an unexpected folder.

4. Wait up to 10 minutes during peak hours

During high-traffic times (mornings and evenings), delivery can take a few minutes. If you've been waiting less than 10 minutes, give it that time and then refresh.

5. Retry sending

  • Account confirmation: on the registration screen, look for the "Resend confirmation email" link.
  • Password recovery: go back to the recovery page at /en/perfil and enter your email again.

Each resend generates a new link; the previous one becomes invalid.
