How points for rankings are calculated
If you want to climb the rankings, this article is your reference. Here's the full breakdown of what adds up, what takes away, and what doesn't move the needle.
Actions that earn points

| Edifying community post (no reports after 24 h) | 3 pts |
| Comment on a post (no reports) | 1 pt |
| Achievement / badge unlocked | variable bonus depending on rarity |
Streak bonuses are added automatically when you complete the devotional on day 7 or day 30. If you break your streak, the counter resets to zero.
Post and comment points are awarded after 24 hours, once the system confirms they received no reports. If a post is reported and removed before that time, it earns no points.

Actions that do NOT earn points
Not everything you do on the site moves the scoreboard. These actions are useful but don't count toward rankings:
- Searching for or viewing church listings.
- Reading devotional blog articles.
- Marking churches as favorites.
- Browsing the store or viewing products.
Actions that remove points

When rankings reset
Rankings have three time horizons:
- Weekly — resets at 00:00 UTC on the first Monday of each week.
- Monthly — resets at 00:00 UTC on the 1st of each month.
- All-time cumulative — never resets. It reflects all your historical points.
Your position in /en/help/articulo/juegos-logros/leaderboards shows all three horizons. Ranking badges are awarded based on the weekly or monthly cutoff, depending on the badge type.
A note on system integrity
The EncuentraIglesias team monitors unusual activity patterns: mass posting, quizzes completed at unusual speed, coordinated accounts. If an irregular pattern is detected, points may be adjusted manually and, in serious cases, the account may be suspended. The goal is for rankings to reflect genuine participation, not artificial volume.
