Leaderboards and rankings

Leaderboards are the community rankings on EncuentraIglesias. They show who has been the most active members in a given period, measured by points accumulated through their actions on the site.

Where to find them

Go to /en/logros and scroll to the Rankings section. From there you can toggle between the weekly ranking (last 7 days) and the monthly ranking (current month).

How points are calculated

Points accumulate from different actions:

• Completing the day's devotional.
• Maintaining an active streak (more consecutive days = more points per day).
• Publishing edifying posts in the feed (prayer, testimony, praise, verse, question).
• Receiving positive reactions from other members.
• Completing Bible quizzes at /games.
• Earning new achievements and badges.

The system weighs actions: posting or interacting substantively is worth more than simply visiting pages.

Why the ranking is by country

Leaderboards are organized by country, not as a single global ranking. The reason is simple: a community of 14 countries with different languages and time zones would make global rankings hard to interpret and less fair. Competing with people who share your language and cultural context makes the experience more personal and motivating.

Available countries are: United States, Germany, France, Italy, Brazil, United Kingdom, Spain, Canada, Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Peru, and Ireland.

What's visible and what's private

• The top 10 of each ranking is publicly visible to all visitors.
• Your personal position (if you're outside the top 10) is only visible to you when you're signed in. Nobody else sees position 11, 47, or any position outside the top.
• The total points of each top-10 user are visible.

Do the points reset?

The weekly ranking resets every Monday at midnight. The monthly one resets on the first day of each month. Your historical points and achievements don't disappear — they stay saved on your profile. Only the current period's count goes back to zero.

This gives everyone a fresh opportunity each week, regardless of how long they've been on the platform.
