How to add a missing church to the directory

The directory grows thanks to the community. If you searched for a church and didn't find it, you can add it in just a few minutes from /add-church.

Required information

For a listing to be approved, you need to complete at least these four fields:

  1. Church name — The official name or the most commonly known one. Avoid abbreviations that only the congregation would recognize.
  2. Address — Street, number, and city at a minimum. The more precise, the better.
  3. Denomination — Choose the one that best describes the church. If it doesn't fit any, select "Evangélico" as a general option or "Otra" if available.
  4. Country — Select the country where the church is physically located.

Optional information that makes a real difference

Even though these aren't required, they significantly increase the chances of quick approval and help other users find the listing useful:

  • Service times — Day and time of the main services.
  • Phone or website — Makes it easier for people to contact the church directly.
  • Photos — A clear photo of the building or interior helps confirm that the address is correct and makes the listing much more useful.
  • Short description — Two or three sentences about the community, worship style, or programs they offer.

What happens after you submit

The EncuentraIglesias team reviews every submission before publishing it. The process usually takes 2 to 7 business days. During that time they verify that:

  • The church isn't already a duplicate in the directory.
  • The address is reasonably valid.
  • The content meets the platform's guidelines.

You'll receive a notification when the listing is published or if a correction is needed. If you don't have an account, the form will ask for a contact email.

Tips before submitting

  • Search first from /advanced-search using variations of the name to make sure it doesn't already exist. Sometimes the church is registered under a slightly different name.
  • Don't add the same church twice. Duplicates are discarded during review and slow down the process.
