Change my preferred country, language, or currency

EncuentraIglesias tries to detect your language and location automatically when you visit the site. If the detection doesn't match your preferences, you can adjust it at any time.

Change the language

The language affects the entire interface: menus, help articles, notifications, and the daily devotional.

1. Find the language selector in the site header (it usually appears as a flag or the current language code).
2. Open the menu and choose your preferred language.
3. The page reloads in the new language immediately.

Available languages are: Spanish (LatAm), Spanish (Spain), English, German, French, Italian, and Portuguese.

You don't need to be signed in to change the language. However, if you have an account and want EI to remember your preference, sign in before making the change.

Change the country and currency

Country and currency are in your profile because they're linked to each other.

1. Go to /en/perfil and click Edit profile.
2. Find the Country field and select yours.
3. The currency updates automatically based on the chosen country.
4. Click Save.

The currency affects the prices you see in the digital products store. Available payment methods also vary by country.

Browsing churches in another country without changing your profile

If you want to explore churches in a different country temporarily, you don't need to change your profile. Use the country filter in the search: /en/help/articulo/iglesias/filtrar-busqueda. That way you can browse churches anywhere without affecting your saved preferences.

Still not working?

If the language reverts to the previous one every time you reload the page, a browser extension or privacy setting may be clearing your preferences. Try in incognito mode or write to us at /contact.
