Community guidelines

The feed exists so brothers and sisters in faith can support each other, pray together, and share what God is doing. To keep that space safe and edifying for everyone, there are clear guidelines.

What IS fine to post

  • Prayer requests: yours or someone who asked you to intercede.
  • Testimonies: what God did in your life, big or small.
  • Praises: expressing gratitude and worship.
  • Verses with reflection: a Bible reference and what it personally spoke to you.
  • Faith questions: biblical doubts, questions about spiritual life, seeking guidance.
  • Kind comments: responding with grace, praying for those who ask, encouraging others.

In general: if your post edifies, comforts, or instructs in faith, it belongs in the feed.

What is NOT allowed

Contact details and external links

Don't include phone numbers, email addresses, social media profiles, or links to sites outside encuentraiglesias.*. The only place you can link is within EncuentraIglesias.

Money requests

Any form of requesting money, donations, cryptocurrency, gift cards, or similar is prohibited. This includes messages that appear to be "donations for a Christian cause." If you see something like this, report it immediately.

Coordinating offline meetups

Phrases like "I'll reach out separately," "come to my house," "I'll call you," or any attempt to move the conversation off the platform are prohibited. There are no DMs in EI, and that's intentional — it protects everyone.

Inappropriate content

  • Explicit or suggestive sexual content.
  • Violence, threats, or incitement to hatred.
  • Content that glorifies self-harm.
  • Multi-level marketing material, investment schemes, or political propaganda.

Content that puts minors at risk

Any content that involves minors inappropriately is grounds for an immediate ban and may be reported to authorities.

Consequences of violating the guidelines

The system applies several layers of review before and after posting. If a post violates the guidelines:

  1. Post hidden: becomes invisible to the community while it's reviewed.
  2. Warning: for minor infractions, the user is notified.
  3. Temporary suspension: if there's a pattern of violations.
  4. Permanent ban: in serious cases (fraud, harassment, content involving minors).

Reports from other users also carry weight: multiple reports can automatically hide a post until the team reviews it.

Suspect a scam?

If someone in the feed tries to ask you for money, invite you to a "private call," or share contact details with you, report it and don't respond. See the full guide at /en/help/articulo/comunidad/seguridad-anti-estafas.
