The arrival of new pastors to their dioceses, such as the Metropolitan Archbishop of Łódź, reminds us of the importance of a bishop's guiding presence among his people. "Feed my sheep" (John 21:17 NRSVCE).Each appointment represents not only a duty but a vocation to service, to the care of souls, and to building ecclesial communion.
Dialogue in Communication and Diplomacy
Pope Leo XIV has shown particular attention to how the Church communicates and dialogues with the world. The composition of the Dicastery for Communication, the fruit of careful discernment, underscores the desire for clear and authentic witness. In an era of rapid change, the Church is called to proclaim hope with words and gestures that speak to people's hearts, recalling Saint Paul's invitation:
"Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer everyone" (Colossians 4:6 NRSVCE).
In parallel, the diplomatic life of the Holy See continues its path of dialogue with nations. Meetings and conversations, even when reported with varying tones by the press, are part of the complex fabric of international relations. The Church pursues peace and the common good, as recalled by the Second Vatican Council, seeking to be

- Communicate with charity: In our conversations, especially when discussing Church matters, let us strive to use respectful and constructive language, avoiding hasty judgments and promoting unity.
