The Hidden Garden of Your Inner Healing
"To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified."
— Isaiah 61:3
💭 Reflection
In this winter season, at the start of a new year, it is a fitting time to reflect on our inner healing. Perhaps you have carried burdens that have left marks on your heart. God, in His infinite wisdom, invites us to give Him our ashes and exchange them for joy. Inner healing does not happen overnight; it is a process that requires honesty and courage. Today, consider which areas of your life need renewal. Are there wounds from the past that need to be healed? Allow the light of God to illuminate those dark corners and let His love embrace you. Remember that you are a tree of righteousness, planted to display His glory. Begin this year with the decision to seek that healing which only He can provide. Make this a purpose, and watch how you flourish in the midst of the circumstances around you.
🙏 Prayer of the Day
Lord, today I give You my burdens and wounds. Help me to find healing in You and to experience the joy that only You can offer. Amen.
