Sowing Justice, Reaping Mercy

"He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?"

— Micah 6:8

💭 Reflection

In this harvest season, it is a good time to reflect on how we live out our faith through justice and mercy. Micah reminds us that God does not merely desire external rituals, but that we act with integrity and compassion in our daily lives. Have you found yourself in situations where you can do justice? Perhaps it is in the way you treat your coworkers, how you handle family disputes, or how you engage in your community. Justice is not only a right but a responsibility. In turn, loving mercy calls us to be a reflection of God's love toward others. This week, look for opportunities to sow justice and mercy. Thank God for His abundant grace and prepare to be a channel of His love in a world that desperately needs it.

🙏 Prayer of the Day

Lord, help me to act justly and to love mercy in all my actions. Make me an instrument of Your peace and a reflection of Your love in my community. Amen.
