The Harvest of Humility in Times of Gratitude

"But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble."

— James 4:6

💭 Reflection

In this autumn season, when leaves fall and the earth prepares for rest, it is a good time to reflect on humility and grace in our lives. Often we find ourselves caught in the trap of self-sufficiency, thinking that our achievements are solely the result of our own effort. However, this verse reminds us that God's true grace is poured out upon those who humble themselves. As we harvest the fruits of our labor, it is essential to recognize that everything we have and are comes from His goodness. Day by day, seek opportunities to practice humility: listen to those around you, serve without expecting recognition, and give thanks for every small gift. In doing so, you not only honor God but also prepare yourself to receive more of His grace. Humility is not weakness; it is the door to a deeper relationship with the Creator and with those around us.

🙏 Prayer of the Day

Lord, help me to recognize Your hand in every blessing I receive. Give me a humble heart that seeks Your grace and shares it with others.
