Abundance of Justice and Mercy in Summer

"He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?"

— Micah 6:8

💭 Reflection

In this summer time, when the harvest season reminds us of nature's abundance, let us reflect on the spiritual abundance we can also cultivate. Micah calls us to a life of justice and mercy, elements vital in our daily interactions. How can you be an agent of justice in your community? Perhaps through an act of kindness toward a needy neighbor or by defending someone who has no voice. Moreover, by loving mercy, we allow God's grace to flow through us, not only receiving it but also sharing it. This summer, make your heart a fertile field where justice and compassion flourish. Observe how, by acting thus, you reap deeper relationships and a renewed sense of purpose.

🙏 Prayer of the Day

Lord, help me to be a reflection of Your justice and mercy in all I do. May I sow seeds of love and kindness in my surroundings this summer. Amen.
