Light is Born in the Wounded Heart

"To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified."

— Isaiah 61:3

💭 Reflection

In this winter season, when the cold seems to envelop us, it is an ideal time for inner healing. Often, we carry ashes in our hearts: memories of pain, failures, or unfulfilled longings. Yet the Lord offers us more than comfort; He invites us to experience a deep transformation. He wants to replace those ashes with beauty, mourning with joy, and heaviness with praise. Do not be afraid to open your heart, to let the light of God enter those dark corners where you feel wounded. This new year, make inner healing one of your resolutions. Take time to reflect on what hurts you and surrender it to God. In that exchange, you will find new strength to flourish, becoming a tree of righteousness that shines with the glory of the Creator.

🙏 Prayer of the Day

Lord, in this new beginning, open my heart to receive Your healing. Transform my pain into joy and help me to be a testimony of Your glory. Amen.
