Serving in the Silence of Winter

"For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another."

— Galatians 5:13

💭 Reflection

At the start of this new year, many of us reflect on our resolutions and goals. Yet I invite you to consider how you might serve others during this season. Galatians 5:13 reminds us that our freedom is not solely for our own benefit, but to extend love to those around us. Sometimes winter can feel like a time of hibernation, but it is also an opportunity to warm the hearts of those who may feel lonely or discouraged. Think of a neighbor, a friend, or someone in your community who might appreciate a small gesture of kindness, such as offering help with a task, preparing a meal, or simply listening. When you serve others, you renew not only their spirit but also your own. Make this winter a season of selfless, loving service.

🙏 Prayer of the Day

Lord, help me to see the opportunities to serve those around me. May my heart be open to the needs of others, and may every act of service reflect Your love.
