Reviving Dreams in the Winter Cold
"Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert."
— Isaiah 43:19
💭 Reflection
In the midst of winter's cold stillness, we often feel that our dreams have faded, that life has come to a halt, and that hopes are only distant echoes. Yet the Lord reminds us in Isaiah 43:19 that He is doing a new thing. The arrival of a new year represents a fresh opportunity to leave behind the old and embrace renewal. Ask yourself: what dreams have you set aside? What new goals do you want to establish? This is the perfect time to reflect on your longings, your purposes, and renew them with confidence that God is working in your life. No matter how cold the current circumstances may seem, He is able to make a way where there is none, to cause rivers to flow in the desert. Take a moment today to write down your hopes and ask God to renew them.
🙏 Prayer of the Day
Lord, thank You for the promise of renewal in my life. Help me to see the new thing You are doing and to trust in Your guidance as I set my purposes for this year.
