At the start of this new year, as the winter cold surrounds us, it is a beautiful time to reflect on who we are in Christ. The transformation we promise each January begins with understanding our divine identity. You are not just a name, a story, or a past; you are a son or daughter of the King. As you look in the mirror each morning, remember that you have an incomparable purpose and that God has called you by your name. This winter can be the perfect opportunity to shed the labels the world has placed on you and renew them with the truth of the Word. Amid new resolutions, consider how you can live according to your new identity, letting every decision and every action reflect the love God has for you. Remember, the cold may be intense, but your spirit can flourish with renewed light.
