Strong Roots in Cold Ground

"He shall cause them that come of Jacob to take root: Israel shall blossom and bud, and fill the face of the world with fruit."

— Isaiah 27:6

💭 Reflection

At the start of this new year, it is a fitting time to reflect on our roots. In winter, everything seems to be at a standstill, but beneath the surface, life continues to work. Just as plants during this season strengthen their roots to bloom in spring, you too can use this time to deepen your connection with God. Trust in Him is not merely an act of faith but a cultivation of relationship. Think about your New Year's resolutions: are they aligned with what God wants for you? As you take stock of what truly matters, allow God to guide you and give you the strength to grow, even in the coldest circumstances. Remember that God's promise is that, in time, you will see those efforts blossom, filling your life with good and abundant fruit. May this winter be a time of preparation and of being rooted in His love.

🙏 Prayer of the Day

Lord, thank You for this new opportunity to begin again. Help me to trust in Your plans and to strengthen my roots in You during this time. Amen.
