As we begin this new year, it is the perfect time to reflect on what hope can do in your life. Isaiah reminds us that God is constantly doing new things. In the midst of cold winter, when everything seems quiet and at rest, nature is preparing for a new beginning. Likewise, in your life, you may feel that you are in a wilderness, but remember that God can open paths where there seems to be none. What are the new purposes you feel in your heart? Perhaps you feel overwhelmed, but God's promise is that He is always working in you. Allow yourself to be renewed. This year, make room in your life for the opportunities He is placing before you. Keep your eyes open, because the new and beautiful might be closer than you imagine.
