Rediscovering Tranquility in Divine Creation

"Six days thou shalt work, but on the seventh day thou shalt rest: in earing time and in harvest thou shalt rest."

— Exodus 34:21

💭 Reflection

In this summer, as you enjoy your vacation, I invite you to truly stop and contemplate the beauty of what God has created around you. Often we fill ourselves with activities and responsibilities, but the Lord calls us to rest. In Exodus 34:21, we are reminded that even in our hardest labors, there is a call to pause, to breathe, and to reconnect with nature and with Him. Find moments in your day to go outside and observe the sky, the mountains, or a simple garden. Allow yourself to feel the warmth of the sun and hear the whisper of the wind. These pauses are not just a physical rest, but a spiritual restoration. In stopping, you give yourself space to hear the still small voice of God who invites you to trust in His care and provision. Just as creation ceases to rest, you too can find a refuge in His presence and be renewed.

🙏 Prayer of the Day

Lord, thank You for the gift of creation and rest. Help me to find time to enjoy Your beauty and to rest in Your love and provision.
